In early 1950,one diesel genereter used for streat lights in the karimnager. I n the year 1957,a power house constructed with three Generating sets of 12.5 M.W capacity each built at Ramagundam.But power supply was not started immediately as the setting up of substation and transmission lines could not be completed then .Further under the Master plan drawn up for development of the power in the Telangana region known as “Telangana Hydro Power Scheme”. One double circuit of 66 K.V line from Ramgundam to Karimnagar and a single circuit of 66 K.V line Peddapalli to Jammikunta was erected .66 K.V substations at Karimnager, Peddapalli&Jammikunta were erected and commissioned during the period from 1959 to 1964.In the year 1967, a single circuit line of 33 K.V line erected from Karimnager to Husanabad .

* In early 1890’s ,3 dispensaries located at Karimnager,Jagitayal and Mahadevapuram.In 1897, the addition of a mortuary with two rooms, one for Mahmmedian and the second for others, sanctioned for all dispensaries. * In 1913-14, Karimnager Jail dispensary was in existence . * In 1920, dispensaries established in Sirsilla and Sultanabad made all Taluks with medical Facilities. *In 1934, Peddapalli&Ramagundam dispensaries were started. *In 1934-49, a sanitation Unit was established in JAMMIKUNTA and converted in dispensary in 1954_55. *HKNS (Hindu Kustu Nivarn Sangh) for Treatment of leprosy Was established in JAMMIKUNTA&THOTAPALLI.

Huzurabad to Jammikunta (station) road of 13K.M was Black Top road , Jammikunta station to Jammikunta Abadi (3 K.m) and Jammikunta Station to Vavilala (16 K.m) Road was metteled . Two buses of Karimnager Depot Traverse two times FROM Knr-Hzb-Jmkt-Vavilala . Now Huzurabad Depot Serving in the routes of Hzb-JMKT; JMKT-Hzb-Hanamakonda; JMKT-Raghavareddypet: JMKT-Vavilala-Kundanapally; JMKT-Mogullapally; JMKT-Himmatnager; JMKT-Gangaram; JMKT-GanmukkualBonthupally, JMKT-Sultanabad. Karminager Depot serving JMKT-Karimnager Via Veenavanka, Challur,Pachhnur. Parkal Depot serving in the route of JMKT-Parakal. Hanamakonda Depot serving JMKT-Hanamakonda, JMKT-HYD.

First library was established in Huzurabad in 1922 , name is “Sri Vishweshwara Andhra Basha Nilayam”. In 1923,”Osmania Library” at manthani started and it’s name changed in 1928 as”Vighnana Prasharana Grandhalyam”. In 1923,”Osmania Andhra Bashanilayam” at Karimnager and “Jagadishwara Grandalyam” at Jagital was opened. In the same year Libraries started at Sirsilla, Sultanabad, Koratla, Vemulawada, Mahadevpuram, Bejjanki, Thotapalli, Manakondur, Rudrangi, Polampalli, Kanaparti and JAMMIKUNTA. Hyderabad public library act 1955, was implemented from 1957-58. The Dist Central Library established established in 1958 with three branch libraries at Manthani, Koratla and Sirsilla. By 1968-69 there were 1 central library, 1 children library, 11 Branch libraries were there . these 11 branch libraries were at Jagital, Metpalli, Koratla , Sirsilla, Peddapalli, Huzurabad, Raikal, Gambiraopet, Jammikunta, Sultanabad and Manakondur. _

JAMMIKUNTA: It was the taluk head quarter till 1913. It is now Mandel Head Quarter of Jammikunta mandal, Centre for 60 villages and serving the needs of 5 Mandals. It had big Grain and Cotton Market in the north Telangana Districts after Warangal Market. Places To Visit in Jammikunta. Ø VISWESWARSWAMY TEMPLE at Old Jammikunta, which was constructed 800 years ago. You will find single rockpiller (Dwagastanbam) of 15 feet. Ø BOMMALA GUDI at jammikunta, built in early 1930’s with complete stones, in the heart of jammikunta. Ø DUBBA MALLANNA TEMPLE besides FCI on Saidapur road attracts many devotees. Ø BALAJI TEMPLE at Venkatadri nagar . Ø AYAPPA SWANY TEMPLE at Ayappa nagar. * An old fort built by kakatiyas of Warangal 700 years ago exists at Jammikunta. It was Taluk head quarters up to 1913 A.D. In the year 1913 the head quarters of taluk was changed to HUZURABAD. As per census of 1901 the population in jammikunta was 2681.In the past of 1901 A.D, Highest Temperature was recorded at karimnagar&jammikunta Taluks. In May it raises to 110 foreign heats. Now it is a mandal head quarters of Jammikunta mandal. It is bounded on the north by Maner River, on the east by mogullapelli mandal of Warangal district, on the south by Huzurabad Mandal&Kamalapur Mandal and on the west by Veenavanka Mandal. It is serving all the needs of 60 Villages near by.
